Saving New Mexico's Forgotten and Death Row Dogs
The purpose for which NM K-911 is formed is to rescue companion animals from the state’s high kill shelters and from dangerous, abusive and neglectful situations in order to promote humane treatment of companion animals throughout the state of New Mexico.
NM K-911 also provides assistance to owners who can no longer keep their animals through our owner surrender program as an alternate to the placing the animal in a public shelter or pound.
NM K-911 helps to educate the public and promote the importance of spaying/neutuering companion animals and providing companion animals with the necessary veterinary care.
NM K-911 provides outreach and education programs to the public on how to help prevent animal cruelty.
